Our students are proud to be the Chargers.  Sports are a great way for students to learn how to be on a team and work with other players towards a common goal.  Students are pushed outside of their comfort zones and learn that they can do hard things!  Additionally, students learn skills that prepare them for high school athletics.
Ephesians 2:10 says that we are God’s masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.  Knowing how to take care of our bodies and being physically fit gives us more energy.   With more energy, we can do more and sustain ourselves longer.  Ultimately, for the purpose of glorifying God as it says in 1 Corinthians 10:31.
  • At Mount Calvary, we have a gymnasium used daily in Physical Education class for students to work on their fitness and coordination skills.
  • We also offer the following sports for 5-8th grades:
    • Girls and Boys Basketball
    • Girls Volleyball
    • Co-ed Track & Field.
If students are interested in other sports, we offer more sports through Milwaukee Lutheran and their Junior Red Knights program.
